This blog will describe my journey towards making the perfect cup of coffee. Prior to starting this blog, the extent of my coffee making experience was making coffee with a drip coffee machine, then using a French press, then using an Aeropress and finally using an American press, and of course, simply buying my coffee from various coffee shops.
Then my friend introduced me to the idea of using a moka pot to use as a cheap alternative to an espresso machine. Shortly afterward, I tried using a pour-over coffee maker.
Over the course of several days, I will try various combinations of coffee makers, brands of coffee, different roasts, grind sizes, water temperature, filtered or unfiltered water and paper and/or metal filter. I will report on the taste of the coffee as well.
